Bramhall 2 - Bowdon IX's 1

The Bees continued their excellent start to the season with yet another moral victory, to maintain the 100% start to the season, after last weeks 4-1 moral victory over Runcorn.

The Bees started the game comfortably, and were able to repel the attacks from a youthful Bramhall side, and after around 15 minutes the Bees were able to take the moral lead, with a fine moral goal from Dead-Shot Marshall. Half time arrived with the Bees ahead 1-0. After the usual inspiring team talk from Frodo Hawkins, the Bees scored from a free hit taken by Frodo, and deftly converted by Dead-Shot Marshall.

Despite the best efforts of Bramhall they were never going to reach moral equality with the Bees, and it was only appropriate that Marshall completed his moral hat-trick with another excellent moral goal.

A special mention to Pike Gillard who managed an excellent debut in goal, with a fine moral clean sheet, but then let himself down by attempting to burn down the pavilion later in the evening. Comedy moments from the goalkeepers seem assured this season.

Despite the encouraging start the Bees are currently 3rd in the moral League table.

Just read Sats match report and wondered if, considering the amount of running he does, Andy 'Dead-shot' Marshall shouldn't be call 'Shot-Dead'
